BPS | Builders have an experienced property maintenance team that provide a high standard of repairs in the Bournemouth and Poole area. Regular property maintenance is essential in the up keep and management of any property. We maintain many properties locally and help to reduce the need for major building repairs caused by deterioration and neglect.
BPS undertake scheduled and non scheduled maintenance works to properties that include:
Roof repairs - brick work repairs - block paving repair and maintenance - window and door adjustments - lock alignment and replacement - gutter cleaning - car park maintenance - garden maintenance - as well as countless other services that we perform on a regular basis.
Roof maintenance and repairs:
Roof maintenance can be as simple as replacing damaged or missing tiles, re-pointing a chimney or re-cementing a valley. Members of our team are qualified IPAF “cherry picker” operatives allowing us to reach and repair areas that would normally require scaffolding.
Brickwork repairs:
Masonry repairs include replacing frost-damaged bricks, re pointing, repairing impact damaged walls and fitting new damp proof courses etc. BPS | Builders Ltd have installed vertical expansion joints in properties with hair line cracking problems and have solved many masonry faults to buildings. We also provide wall tie inspections. The BPS maintenance team is also able to custom make concrete sections to match existing concrete details.
Brick paving maintenance and repair:
The BPS maintenance team can make a tired driveway look nearly new again:
We start with a weed killing treatment and apply an oil stain remover (if necessary) to any oil patches found.
A high-pressure jet washer with an optional rotating Whirlaway attachment is used to clean the paving.
Any low or subsided areas can now be repaired.
The next stage is to apply kiln-dried sand and vibrate the paving with a wacker plate to ensure the sand has resettled in.
A sweep up completes the driveway maintenance.
We recommend that brick paving is power washed and maintained at least every two years to ensure your drive stays in pristine condition.
Window and door adjustments:
We are able to ease, fix and replace windows and doors. Installing door closures, door easing, door hanging and installing intumescent strips are all regular jobs for the BPS maintenance teams.
Lock alignment, security, lock installation and adjustments:
The BPS team install, replace and fix a wide variety of locks. We also offer a “get me in” service for those times when your keys are lost and emergency access is required.
Gutter Cleaning and Maintenance:
We have been cleaning gutters, repairing gutters and downpipes since the company started in 1998. Blocked and broken gutters can cause major problems to a property and should be maintained every 6 to 12 months to ensure they function correctly. We have invested in a new innovative system for cleaning gutters called a Gutter Vacuum. Car Park Maintenance:
Car parks are often neglected and should be maintained as frequently as other areas of a property. We offer a variety of services that include:
Road line painting - sign installation - gully cleaning - leaf blowing - jet washing - barrier installation and repairs – kerb maintenance and repair – pothole repair.
